$1 Million Winning Mega Millions Lottery Ticket Sold In Lebanon County
There's a newly minted millionaire after buying a lottery ticket in Pennsylvania. The winning $1,000,000 lottery ticket for the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, April 12, 2024, sold in Central Pennsylvania lottery officials announced the following Monday. The ticket matched five of the balls: 1-12-14-18-66, but not the yellow Mega Ball 16, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding. A Berks County gunman is in custody after police say he led police on a foot pursuit and then pointed a gun at them, prompting them to fire their service weapons over the weekend. PA Woman Killed Walking Along Garden State Parkway
A 34-year-old woman from Pennsylvania walking along the Garden State Parkway in Middlesex County, NJ, was struck and killed by a pickup truck, authorities said. Liliya Rosenblum was struck by the Chevrolet pickup at about 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, in the southbound left lane near milepost 130.2 in Woodbridge, New Jersey State Police said. Rosenblum, of Newville, Pennsylvania, was pronounced dead at the scene, State Police said. The crash remains under investigation.

The body of Rebecca "Becky" Shanice Beamer-Hicks, 35, of Harrisburg, was recovered from the Susquehanna River Tuesday morning, April 9 in Harford County, a spokesman for the Maryland Natural Resources Police said.
