These Touring Tuesday events are scheduled throughout the school year and are designed to introduce prospective families to the lifelong benefits and value of a Catholic education. Future dates are Tuesdays, March 10, April 28 and June 2.

JCOS invites prospective parents to attend the open house to learn about the school’s affordable language-based academic curriculum for children in grades two-eight with learning disabilities, speech or language impairments or other health impairments.

Reservations for Touring Tuesday are required and can be made by calling 646-794-2885 or registering online at www.BuildBoldFutures.org.

At JCOS, students are taught in small classes with individualized attention. Teachers use multisensory teaching techniques to help children succeed both academically and socially. JCOS is a Catholic elementary school that welcomes children of all faiths.

“Families will have the opportunity to speak with teachers and other parents as they tour the school and see if John Cardinal O’Connor School’s unique academic curriculum may be the right fit for their child,” said Timothy McNiff, superintendent of schools.

“Classes focus on the critical relationship between spoken and written language. We invite all families to see JCOS in action, have an opportunity to learn about the admissions process and meet with principals, faculty and parents of other students."
