The property is 16,500 square feet and consists of three buildings: an 8,000-square-foot church, a 3,669-square-foot rectory and a 5,000-square-foot parish hall.
“This is a very unique and historic property, and we are thrilled that the building’s value has been recognized,” said Garry Klein of Houlihan Lawrence’s Commercial Real Estate Group, who represented the seller.
The Holy Cross congregation was incorporated in 1895, and the church was built around 1923. The parish hall at 114-16 Beekman Ave. was built in 1957, according to an appraisal of the property submitted to the court.
