Top Stories 2012: Tarrytown Developments Spur Debate

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Tarrytown real estate developments and businesses expanded throughout the village in 2012.

Among the growing sections of the village was a new subdivision in southern Tarrytown and Greenburgh. The Greystone development would add 20 homes.

Some developments, such as Tarrytown Honda's proposed expansion, inspired concern from neighboring residents about noise, size and increased traffic.

Other developments were welcomed from the community, such as Hudson Harbor's latest development. National RE/sources began construction on the new townhomes in 2012, opening its “American Dream House” model in October.
