Man Stopped For Speeding On I-87 Had BAC Twice Legal Limit

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man arrested stopped for speeding on I-87 had a blood-alcohol content twice the legal limit, state police said.

The driver of the vehicle, Rostyslav Kuvshinov, 40, of the Bronx, was transported and processed at State Police barracks in Tarrytown after being pulled over on Sunday, May 15 at approximately 11:35 p.m.

Kuyshinov's blood-alcohol content was determined to be 0.23 percent, according to state police.

He was subsequently charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated (an unclassified misdemeanor).

Kuvshinov was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Clarkstown Court on June 9.
