WHEATFIELD, N.Y. - Carl H. Olsen of Wheatfield, formerly of Mahopac, died Oct. 3. He was 76.
Olsen was born Sept. 6, 1937, in Dobbs Ferry, to Herbert C. and May M. Schultz Olsen. He was a 1955 graduate of N. Tarrytown High School and a graduate of Kings College, Briarcliff Manor. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked for General Motors, NorthTarrytown for over 30 years before retirement.
Olsen is survived by his wife, Lynn; daughters, Carolyn Olsen, Debora Olsen and Amy (Leonard) Roman; two grandsons; and sister, Margaret Olsen.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 at St. Theresa Church, Briarcliff Manor. Interment following at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
