SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. Luis Ayabaca, a 29-year-old Tarrytown resident, was arrested and charged with third-degree robbery on Monday around 5:30 a.m. after he forcibly took a 33-year-old Sleepy Hollow woman's purse after the two had shared a taxi from White Plains, Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Gregory Camp said.
Ayabaca grabbed the purse while leaving the taxi and fled from the area near Depeyster St. and Valley St., Camp said. Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown police later found Ayabaca and the stolen property several blocks away, Camp said.
Ayabaca was taken to the Westchester County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to appear in Sleepy Hollow Court on Sept. 12.

Ossining Man Can't Keep It In His Pants
Police arrested a 28-year-old man from Ossining on Saturday around 11 p.m. for disorderly conduct and exposure of a person, Camp said.
The man was urinating in public and exposing himself to passersby on Cortlandt St. near College Ave., Camp said. The man's name was not released. He will appear in court on Sept. 19.
Marijuana And Church Don't Mix
An 18-year-old Sleepy Hollow man was arrested for fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana after police found him sitting on the steps of Holy Cross Church with the illegal substance on Saturday around 9 p.m.
The man, whose name was not released, will appear in court on Sept. 19.
