TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Several ceremonies commemorating the 10th anniversary of 9/11 will take place this weekend in the Tarrytown area. Find information on individual ceremonies below.

The Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department will host a joint ceremony with the Sleepy Hollow Volunteer Fire Department beginning at 8 a.m. at the Main Street Firehouse in Tarrytown on Sunday, Sept. 11.
After the Main Street Firehouse activities, the two fire departments will then march along Washington Street, ending in Patriot's Park, where they will conduct another short ceremony.
The Village of Irvington will have a memorial ceremony at the 9/11 memorial on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 p.m. The memorial is located at the south end of Scenic Hudson Park.
Mayor Brian Smith will open the ceremony with a welcome message. Rev. David Harkness will say the invocation and Rev. Raymond Byrne will say the benection. Rabbi Joan Farber will say a prayer for peace.
Police Chief Michael Cerone, First Assistant Fire Chief James Ruffler and Captain Storm Field will place a wreath on the memorial.

Westchester County will hold a ceremony at 6 p.m. Sunday at the countys 9/11 memorial, The Rising, located at the Kensico Dam Plaza, in Valhalla.
County Executive Rob Astorino, other elected officials and families of the 111 Westchester County residents who died that day are expected to attend.
The event will include a candle lighting ceremony to honor those that were lost during the tragedy ten years ago.
The annual event will be held during twilight hours in order to allow residents to attend other 9/11 memorials being held around the county.
