Pocantico Hills' Rockefeller Named To Forbes 400

POCANTICO HILLS, N.Y. – A Pocantico Hills resident has been named one of the 400 richest Americans in a list released by Forbes Thursday.

David Rockefeller Sr., 97, is listed as the 151st richest American in the new Forbes 400 list with an estimated net worth of $2.7 billion. Rockefeller also is listed as No. 491 in the Forbes billionaires list for the world.

Topping the Forbes 400 is Microsoft founder Bill Gates with an estimated net worth of $66 billion. Warren Buffett, chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc,. comes in second with an estimated net worth of $46 billion.

Rockefeller's weath stems from the Standard Oil Company and banking, Forbes said.

Rockefeller has a doctorate from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University.
