TARRYTOWN, New York Crabtrees Kittle House, the award-winning Chappaqua restaurant that regularly raises the bar for fine dining in Westchester County, is set to open a second location in Tarrytowns Hudson Harbor luxury waterfront community development.
The new space will add a gourmet and specialty food store and a wine store alongside the restaurant. The focus for the new markets will be locally produced organic wines and foods, a nod to the locavore movement that continues to be popular countywide.
Menu details for the restaurant are still under (artisinal) wraps, but people close to the project have indicated that the focus will be on creating a kind of gastro-pub feel, on par with the Tap Room menu at the original Crabtrees Kittle House.
An opening date has yet to be announced.
