Tarrytown Holds Annual Earth Day Cleanup

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- An Earth Day cleanup takes place on Saturday at Patriots Park, Neperan Park and Tarrytown Lake.The annual event is sponsored by the Tarrytown Environmental Advisory Council, Tarrytown Lakes Committee, Friends of Neperan Park Clean up, and supported by the Westchester Community Foundation.

Coffee will be donated by Coffee Labs Roasters and snacks will be provided by Mrs. Greens.

The event will include a food drive drop off for the Community Food Pantry of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown.

The Patriots Park and Neperan Park cleanups are from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The Tarrytown Lakes cleanup runs 10am - 3 p.m.

A 7:30 a.m. nature walk is included at the Tarrytown Lakes cleanup, led by Carole Griffiths. All ages are welcome.
