TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Cellar 49 at the Tarrytown House Estate has named Ryan Sachs as its new Chef de Cuisine.
Sachs previously worked at the hotel and conference center's sister site Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe for their Six Peaks Grille.
“We are thrilled to have Chef Ryan here to head Cellar 49’s kitchen,” General Manager Joseph Santore said. “His creativity and culinary experience will surely be a hit with our diners. We encourage the community to come dine here and take advantage of a dining experience that pairs delicious food with a comfortable, yet sophisticated, ambiance.”
Sachs has also worked at the Las Sendas Country Club in Mesa, Ariz., and the Soleil Bistro in Phoenix. The new chef says Cellar 49, which takes a modern twist on classic tavern fare, has an interesting appeal.
“I’m excited to be here and look forward to leading the team in pushing the culinary envelope for our guests,” Sachs said.
