County Looks To Revive Irvington Restaurant

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- On the Saw Mill River Parkway between Ardsley and Elmsford there is a restaurant building that has housed numerous businesses, according to The Journal News.

Local efforts hope to revive the former site of the Saw Mill River Restaurant and La Cantina among other restaurants.

Now a round of proposals for the site, backed by Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, aims to revive the location, according to The Journal News.

After 20 years, proposals to bring food back to the site are being called for with a deadline of Aug. 21, reports The Journal News.

Thiere were failed attempts to revive the site in 1997 and 2007 according to The Journal News.
