Weather Won't Interfere With July 4th Weekend

The weather shouldn’t dampen any Fourth of July plans this weekend.

The National Weather Service is predicting high temperatures in the 80s and 90s through Monday with only slight chances of rain over the weekend. The weather will be nice and sunny with no chance of rain on July 4, just in time for the Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow Fireworks show.

The Weekend Ahead

Thursday’s weather should be sunny and windy. The high is expected to reach 82 degrees with winds near 11 mph.

There is a 20 percent of isolated thunderstorms after 1 p.m. on Friday. Temperatures are predicted to be as high as 81, with sunny skies and a slight wind.

The sunny skies will continue on Saturday, with highs near 85 and a slight wind.

Rain might make an appearance Sunday morning. There’s a 20 percent chance in the early morning hours and a 30 percent chance after 8 a.m.

Sunday’s weather is expected to be hot and partly sunny, with highs around 91. There is a 30 percent chance of rain Sunday night.

The Fourth of July will see temperatures near 87 degrees and sunny skies.
