Deer reproduce at a rapid rate and are causing damage to many forests in Westchester County, John Baker, the director of conservation for Westchester County Parks, told the the Rye City Council at its meeting last week.
are your kidding?
Humans reproduce at a rapid rate, not deer.
we tear down forests, leaving little room for the deer.
Don't bullshit us. We are encroaching on their land, not the other way around. Property owners just want to get rid of them.
-- Rye residents who are sick of seeing deer in their yard may soon find relief
Are you sick of seeing deer in your yard? Are they eating your daisies? Too bad. You take away their land. Maybe we should start culling the suburbanites. View Comment
all these years, knowing that he senselessly killed an innocent woman, and destroyed a family, no earlier confession? this is what makes up a true sociopath, which should be considered at his trial. View Comment
wait, what? she was stoned, hit him, was arrested for dwi and HE has to pay? I am sure they will also somehow find the nurses at NWH guilty of attempted murder. Ahh Kennedyland, like Candyland for priviledged adults View Comment
I can't understand the idiocy of people who collect these kinds of weapons. Even if they have no plans of evil doing, what if someone steals them? View Comment
Yet people who make 65% of median income have to scrape by paying 1500 a month for a one bedroom in a basement somewhere. No subsidies, nothing. Why can't we get this right? The less you make, the better the accomodations? Why can't it be on a sliding scale? You work while going to school, in order to make more money, are left with the loans, and are denied the housing that someone who didn't chose to better themselves can afford. Again the middle class gets it where it don't belong. I can see why so many people are just fed up. View Comment
I love these birds. I understand you can't park underneath their nest, but they bring a little bit of the tropics with their distinct songs. I hope that they don't have to remove their nest. View Comment
