Traffic Alert Issued For Irvington

IRVINGTON, N.Y. - There will be restricted parking in Irvington for a week as crews conduct construction work in the village.

There will be parking restrictions on North Eckar Street in Irvington as contractors perform construction work on Main Street.

The Irvington Police Department issued an alert to residents notifying them that due to the construction work at 65 Main St. and 71 Main St., alternate side of the street parking will be suspended on North Eckar Street for several days.

Police said that the restrictions will begin on Thursday, Oct. 19 and continue through Oct. 26. Regular parking rules will then resume throughout Irvington.
