Tractor-Trailer Overturns, Blocking Lane On I-287

A crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer lead to the closure of one lane on westbound I-287 throughout the Tuesday morning commute.

The crash, which occurred just before 6 a.m. at Exit 10 (Route 120A/Bowman Avenue), originally resulted in the closure of all lanes before one lane, two lanes and then all three lanes reopened. A fire that broke out after the crash was put out.

Stop-and-go delays stretched back to I-95 (Exit 12).
