Numerous accidents are being reported Friday morning amid the slick road conditions as a result of the Nor'easter.

A stretch of the Taconic State Parkway was closed both ways between Bryant Pond Road and I-84 due to a large downed tree and multiple accidents until about 10 a.m., with traffic backed up to the Westchester/Putnam border.

Separate crashes have been reported on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester.

A crash involving an overturned vehicle is blocking the left lane southbound at Route 117 (Exit 43) at 9:30 a.m.

Just a bit farther south, a crash is blocking the shoulder on the northbound side at Roaring Brook Road in Chappaqua.

A stretch of the Bronx River Parkway is closed both ways in White Plains between the County Center and Main Street.

Two lanes are closed on northbound I-684 in Bedford at Route 172, with traffic backed up to Route 22 (Exit 3) in Armonk at 10:30 a.m.

An earlier single-vehicle crash caused slowdowns on I-684 near Armonk, according to state police.

The crash occurred around 8:18 a.m. Friday northbound near mile marker 11.5, when the vehicle hit a tree, police said.

Injuries were reported, but police did not have details.
