Life-Threatening Injuries Reported After Car Crashes Into Woods Off Merritt

STAMFORD, Conn. — Life-threatening injuries were being reported after a car went off the Merritt Parkway in Stamford and crashed into the woods on Sunday morning, according to Connecticut State Police.

The right lane of the northbound Merritt was closed at Exit 35 after the crash at about 9:25 a.m., state police said. 

Drivers were urged to reduce speed when approaching the area of the crash, state police said.
