MAMARONECK, N.Y. Juan Pablo-Loja initiated four consecutive Sleepy Hollow wins as the Headless Horsemen overcame host Mamaroneck 44-37 in a wrestling match Thursday.
Pablo-Loja pinned his opponent in the first period of the 126 pound bout. Edwin Jimenez (132) followed with a technical fall, Steven Become (138) was awarded a forfeit and Kevin Ortiz (145) won by decision. One match later, Gabe Palacios (170) secured a first-period pin.
Mamaroneck had pins by Dion Duran (170), Ben Miller (152) and Steven Fabiano (113) and Troy Whittemore (120) won by major decision.
