Irvington To Honor Girls Basketball With Village Picnic

IRVINGTON, N.Y. – Irvington will honor the Irvington High School's girls' basketball team next Sunday with a village picnic.

The team recently won its fourth-straight New York Public Schools championship and the New York State Federation Class B Tournament for the third time in four years. Irvington coach Gina Maher's Bulldogs has a 106-6 record over the last four seasons.

Irvington officials and the Irvington Fire Company are hosting the picnic on May 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Scenic Hudson Park.

All are invited to enjoy food and entertainment.
