Irvington High School's Kiana Lee To Sign National Letter Of Intent

IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Irvington High School senior Kiana Lee will sign a National Letter of Intent and will be accepting a scholarship for Track and Field at the University of North Carolina- Charlotte on Wednesday.

Lee will sign her letter of intent at Irvington High School.

She recently won the Section 1 State Qualifier in the 300-meter race with a time of 39.31, the fifth fastest all-time record in Westchester County and sixth fastest time in Section I history. At the New York State Public High School State Indoor Track and Field Championship, Lee finished second in her preliminary heat, and was able to bounce back in the final and earn the silver medal.  Lee also earned a bronze medal in the New York State Federation Championship.

“Kiana is a tremendously talented individual in and outside of the classroom, and she has made the District and high school administration very proud,” said Athletic Director Arthur McCormack. “Over the years, she has represented us with great pride, maintained an impressive work ethic and has accomplished so much in her time at Irvington High School. We congratulate her on committing to the University of North Carolina- Charlotte and wish her great success for years to come.”
