The Empire Center's report said Harrison Superintendent Louis Wool was the highest paid school district employee in Westchester with an annual salary of $323,604, not including benefits. Wool ranked sixth overall among school employees outside of New York City, LoHud.com reported.
Empire Center, an independent research organization, said the number of district employees state-wide making more than $100,000 a year jumped 48 percent in the last five years.
Other Westchester administrators in the report's top-50 annual salaries, according to LoHud.com were:
- Peter Mustich, Rye Neck, $298,945 (No. 14)
- Amy Goodman, Greenburgh-Graham (special act district), $286,258 (No. 19)
- Ralph Napolitano, Yorktown, $274,039 (No. 29)
- Robert Shaps, Mamaroneck, $271,691 (No. 32)
- Jeffrey Korostoff, New Rochelle, $270,623 (No. 33)
- Jere Hochman, Bedford, $267,881 (No. 38)
- Michael Jumper, Katonah-Lewisboro, $265,172 (No. 40)
- William Donohue, Byram Hills, $264,676 (No. 42)
- David Quattrone, Bronxville, $261,883 (No. 48)
