As healthcare jobs in both Westchester County and across the nation continue to grow, one of the area's premier educators is offering prospective students the chance to join the field through a specially tailored curriculum.
Thanks to Westchester Community College's Ossining Health Advantage, students interested in pursuing a healthcare focused degree can do so at the school's unique learning community in the Ossining Extension Center. The program will allow students to continue their education towards careers in allied health, healthcare administration and health education. Scholarships are provided by the Higher Education Research and Scholarship Foundation through the Westchester Community College Foundation.
Since its foundation in January 2001, The Ossining Extension Center has put into practice the college’s commitment to offering high quality, low cost education at convenient locations throughout the county.
Open houses for prospective students will be held on Monday, May 21 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and Wednesday, May 23 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. The Ossining Extension Center of Westchester Community College is located at 22 Rockledge Avenue in Ossining.
