SLEEPY HOLLOW, N. Y. -- Sleepy Hollow High School students showed their giving spirit by collecting and donating food, and raising more than $1,800 for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
During their annual Spirit Week in October, students donated more than 3,000 cans of food for the Tarrytown Food Pantry. Also during Spirit Week, students held Penny Wars to collect $1,836.41.
The junior class, winner of Penny Wars, chose Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hudson Valley as the recipient. Members of Sleepy Hollow's student government delivered the money last week, and were able to learn more about what the foundation does.See Attachment
