Sleepy Hollow High School Club Collects Supplies For Pet Food Pantry

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Members of Sleepy Hollow High School’s PAW (Promoting Animal Welfare) Club held a supply drive at Stop & Shop in Tarrytown on Nov. 22 to benefit Little Orphan Animals and the Hudson Valley Pet Food Pantry.

Club advisers, Bonnie Berry and Samantha Horn, along with students: Arielle Edber, Madelyn Elia, Eliza Sandler, Manny Davila, Kyra Schulz, Tori McAdam, Cynthia Jimenez, Ryan Many, Christiana Nisco, Esmeralda Perez, Robert Sullivan, Nick Davis, and Nick Renna, collected more than 1,000 items.

The supplies and food collected will help the Hudson Valley Pet Food Pantry distribute approximately 3,000 lbs. of pet food each month, feeding 760 animals and serving 300 families from throughout the service area.
