Public Schools Of The Tarrytowns Foundation Hosts Dinner Dance

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns Foundation had its annual dinner dance Saturday, April 11 at Sleepy Hollow Country Club.

The Rotary Club of the Tarrytowns and Joe Lillis were honored for their community work, mostly for Tarrytown's public schools.

The Rotary Club gives out 11 scholarships every year to the schools, and president Gary Solomon thanked the crowd for their support when accepting the award.

Lillis is a 24-year veteran of Tarrytown's school board, having been president numerous times in his long time as a board member.

Along with honoring Lillis and the Rotary Club, the event included closeups with an albino python, food, both silent and live auctions and music. All proceeds went to the foundation and its ongoing work.
