A lively choir of first- and second-graders performed five holiday songs in the opening show called “Let It Shine,” followed by the third- and fourth-grade chorus, whichoffered seven arrangements during a 90-minute performance in “All Stars.”

“The children had their best performances (tonight),” said DePaola. “The speakers and the choirs did a great job.”

The opening performance was highlighted by the title song “Let It Shine” and the finale “Rock the Holly.”

The third- and fourth-grade group was in perfect rhythm with “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” and “Shooting Star,” and then delighted the audience by circling the auditorium, hand-in-hand, singing “Circle of Light."
