Pace School Of Ed 'Keeping It Real' With Queens High School Principal

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pace University School of Education’s second “Keeping It Real” speaker series event will welcome one of New York's up-and-coming educators, Brandon Corley, to campus. The series is an opportunity for future educators to get the real story on what it is like to be an educational leader in today’s diverse public schools.

The guest speaker is Assistant Principal Brandon Corley of EPIC High School in Queens. Corley is the co-leader and youth development director at EPIC High School. A Chicago native, Corley was previously a high school mathematics teacher in Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York City. His widespread community involvement and volunteer work includes Simba Circle Camp and the Southside YMCA as well as the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

The discussion will take place on Nov. 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Butcher Suite in the Kessel Student Center on Pace’s Westchester campus. The talk is free and open to the public.
