Main Street School Fifth-Graders Participate In Hudson River Day

IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Main Street School fifth-graders participated in their annual Hudson River Day event on Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Teams of students and their teachers, as well as parent volunteers, used lab equipment to investigate water chemistry and quality, tides and weather.

Students collected data and made observations of the abiotic and biotic factors by the river at Matthiessen Park. Students’ findings will contribute to their ongoing study of ecosystems.
