Stepinac High to Honor Tarrytown Resident Ron Tedesco

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Archbishop Stepinac High School's staff, alumni and foundation members will honor longtime faculty member and Tarrytown resident Ron Tedesco for his 50 years of achievements on Thursday, May 8, at 6 p.m.

The ceremony will take place at Stepinac High School in the Don Larkin Plaza (between the gymnasium and Major Bowes Theater). Stepinac High School is at 950 Mamaroneck Ave..

Faculty will also announce information about a new physics lab that will be dedicated to Tedesco for his remarkable milestone.

Donations are being accepted for the Ron Tedesco Physics Lab, which will be constructed over this summer and unveiled for the start of the 2014-15 academic year. The funds will also help update the school’s other science labs. An anonymous donor will match the donations up to $100,000.
