Irvington, Tarrytown Schools To Close Monday For Hurricane Sandy

IRVINGTON, N.Y. – Irvington, Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow schools will close on Monday due to Hurricane Sandy, officials announced Sunday.

The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, the Irvington Union Free School District, the Pocantico Hills Central School District, the Transfiguration School and the Hackley School will be closed.

All afternoon and evening events, including the Irvington Superintendent's Coffee, are also affected.

Tuesday classes remain scheduled as of 7 p.m. Sunday.
