IRVINGTON, N.Y. – Parents and community residents in the Irvington school district will meet to discuss the new Main Street School principal in early February.

The district announced two community forums to help develop a leadership profile for the next principal for Feb. 11 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and Feb. 28 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Main Street School in Irvington.

School officials hope to name a new Main Street School principal this spring. Eileen Casey is serving as the interim principal, replacing Raina Kor. Kor was promoted to assistant superintendent of instruction and human resources in 2012.
