Faculty At Two Irvington Schools Invite Parents To Learn About Common Core

IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Dows Lane and Main Street elementary schools calls parents to learn about the new, revised kindergarten through fifth-grade common core aligned report card at a presentation on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Main Street School Auditorium

The schools' curriculum is aligned to the Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS) and now their report cards are, also.

Join Main Street Principal Joyce Chapnick, Dows Lane Principal Randy Lichtenwalner and Assistant Principal Meg Benedetto, along with Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Raina Kor for a review of the Common Core Learning Standards for math and English Language Arts and get a preview of the revised elementary report card.
