Casey To Stay Interim Main Street School Principal

IRVINGTON N.Y. -- Eileen Casey will continue to serve as the interim Main Street School principal next year, Irvington school officials have announced.

"Ms. Casey will be able to continue to provide strong guidance of Main Street School's instructional programs, and continuity that is much needed for the students," the school district said in a statement. "Dr. Harrison and the administration look forward to Ms. Casey being part of the Irvington team for another year."

School officials suspended a search for a new principal in March because an ongoing space utilization student and declining enrollment might lead to discussions of closing the school.
