SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- The Open Door Medical Center has withdrawn its applications from the Sleepy Hollow Planning Board and the Sleepy Hollow Zoning Board of Appeals, officials said in a note posted on the village website.
It is not known whether a new application will be submitted.
Open Door had proposed moving out of its Beekman Avenue offices and into a larger building at 300 N. Broadway in the Webber Park neighborhood of Sleepy Hollow.
Neighboring residents have long criticized the plan, saying it would bring traffic and pedestrian issues to the area.
Open Door and village officials discussed several proposals at a March meeting with trustees, saying they, too, had concerns with the project, although they supported Open Door's work.
