Michael J. Hopkins, Jr., 65, Of Beacon

BEACON, N.Y. – Michael J. Hopkins Jr., a resident of Beacon, formerly of Jamaica, Queens, died Sunday, March 13. He was 65.

Hopkins graduated from Chelsea Vocational High School in Manhattan. He spent his entire career working in the finance industry for J.P. Morgan and its subsidiary companies.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his daughter, Colleen Hopkins, and her partner, Chris Murphy; his son, Michael J. Hopkins III, and his wife, Jenelle; his granddaughters, Alanna and Kayleigh; his sister, Maureeen A. Keyes and her husband, Denis; his brother, Brian J. Hopkins and his wife, Lorraine; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his sister, Regina Hopkins.

Calling hours will be from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc., 1089 Main St., Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 17, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 31 Willow St., Beacon.
