'Voice' Winner Performs In Allendale For Don Bosco Athletes

ALLENDALE, N.J. — Jermaine Paul, the season-two winner of “The Voice,” will perform at Allendale Bar & Grill Thursday, Jan. 7 to benefit Don Bosco Preparatory High School’s basketball team.

Paul and his band will perform before dozens of Fast Break Club supporters at the event. 

Paul, a singer and songwriter, Paul is the artist behind “Make Love Save The World.” The debut album came out in September. He is also the artist behind “Next to You,” and "Working Sista.” 

Paul has performed as the opening act for Alicia Keys and was nominated for two Grammy awards for his work with her and on Luther Vandross’ All Star Tribute Album. Before his big win on "The Voice," he also worked with Mary J. Blige, Joss Stone, Brandy, BlackStreet, Kelly Price, Corey Rooney and Rodney Jerkins.

His sons Christopher and Jeremiah are students at the school. 

"I get to mix my world up with my sons’ world which is pretty cool,” he said.

There is no cover charge for the event, but the team welcomes donations.
