Historic Landmarks Preservation Board: 7 p.m. The Lee F. Jackson Conference Room is located in Greenburgh Town Hall at 177 Hillside Ave., Greenburgh.
Town Board Outreach Meeting: 8 p.m. The board will hold a community outreach meeting with the East Irvington Civic Association to hear public comments and concerns. The Irvington Recreation Center is located at 71 Main St., Irvington.
Edgemont Board of Education: 8:15 p.m. The board is expected to make decisions on a number of resolutions and hear public comment. The Edgemont High School LGI room is located at 200 White Oak Lane, Edgemont.

Greenburgh Ethics Board: 5:45 p.m. This board renders advisory opinions, reports and recommendations to the town board while investigating alleged violations of the town code and facilitating compliance with the code. Dirt: The Ecstatic Skin of the Earth: 7:30 p.m. William Bryant Logan, a certified arborist and award-winning writer, will discuss the importance of dirt. He shares "The most mysterious place on Earth is right beneath our feet." His book "Dirt: The Ecstatic Skin of the Earth" inspired the documentary "Dirt!" Admission is free. The Greenbrugh Nature Center is located at 99 Dromore Road, Greenburgh.
