TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – A final environmental impact study on the new Tappan Zee Bridge will be published next week and state officials already have begun to increase their outreach efforts, the governor's office said.

A new website, NewNYBridge.com; Twitter account, @NewNYBridge; and toll-free number, 855-TZBRIDGE have been set up for residents to submit questions and concerns about the proposed bridge. Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office also has begun a series of community meetings and welcomed the newly-appointed Special Advisor for the Tappan Zee Bridge, Brian Conybeare.

“These community meetings are an essential part of the process to build a newer, stronger bridge to for New York’s future,” Cuomo said in a statement. “The new website and toll free number will help my administration address the questions and concerns of New Yorkers. I look forward to hearing from Hudson Valley residents and businesses as we work together to make this project a reality.”

The project's new website includes meeting videos and a database of project documents.

Two community meetings are planned in Rockland County today, with more to be scheduled in the future.
