HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON — Police from Hastings and Westchester County, along with helicopters, searched for three suspects after a woman was stabbed in Hastings on Thursday night, police said.

The woman was taken the Westchester Medical Center for treatment, police said. Officers responded to a home on Columbia Avenue just a few yards from Farragut Parkway and the Saw Mill River Parkway late Thursday, police said.

The nature of the stabbing, and the extent of the woman’s injuries, could not be confirmed with police.

The stabbing occurred at about 8 p.m., and by 9 p.m. police tape was visible around a lone car and near the roadway on Columbia Avenue as emergency fire and police personnel investigated the scene.

Westchester Police would not comment at the scene and said information would be forthcoming through the county's information officer.

All is well people. Keep your blinders firmly in place, pay no attention to the state of the country or the world at this time. It's an isolated incident, and besides that's really not us, that's not Hastings, as far as I'm concerned that's Yonkers, let's be honest. Let's just go about our business and think only of ourselves and our own politically correct petty agendas. The last thing we need to worry about now is more police. Let's keep our eye on the ball, on what's important. Grants, parks, parades, committees, pilot programs, and of course art. We must always, always, continue to tell ourselves and others just how artistic we all are. Let's all follow our "big toe" Mayor Swiderski and continue to walk our "green" walk, accepting checks from BP, the environments friend and our good neighbor. I'm so damn proud of us, we truly are the real deal. When the going gets tough I wanna be on the front lines with the likes of our gang. No Festivus poles here. Carry on, sheeple. "Indeed."
