Woman Faces DWI Charge After Hit-Run Crash On Sprain Brook Parkway

Residents of Westchester and Putnam facing charges are:

  • Diana G. Villa of Verplanck, 24, charged with DWI, a misdemeanor by state police in Cortlandt after troopers were dispatched to a two-car auto collision that occurred on Broadway in Cortlandt. An investigation revealed that Villa struck a parked pick-up truck and attempted to leave the scene of the crash, police said. She provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .14 percent, police said, and was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on Dec. 12.
  • Marc Meachum of Croton-on-Hudson, 34, charged with DWI, a misdemeanor by state police in Cortlandt after a traffic stop conducted on Albany Post Road for erratic operation. He provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .12 percent, police said. He was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Cortlandt Court on Dec. 16.
  • Meghan Quinn of Peekskill, 24, charged with DWI, a misdemeanor by state police in Cortlandt after a Route 9 speeding stop. Quinn provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .14 percent, police said. She was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear in the Village of Croton Court on Dec. 14.
  • Veronica Scott of Montrose, 25, charged with DWI, a misdemeanor by state police in Cortlandt following a one-car crash that occurred on Mount Airy Road. She provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .10 percent and was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on Dec. 19.
