Woman, 36, Faces DWI Charges After Sprain Stop For Driving Erratically

ELMSFORD, N.Y. – A Poughkeepsie woman faces charges after being stopped on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Elmsford, state police said.

Linda Hernandez, 36, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 29, after police stationed at the Hawthorne barracks received reports of an erratic driver.

After providing a breath sample, Hernandez was shown to have a blood alcohol content of .12 percent, police said.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, police said.

Hernandez is to appear in Elmsford Village Court on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
