According to Tarrytown Police Lt. Gregory Budnar, officers had received several complaints from local residents concerned about recent drug transactions in the area.
In response, the task force conducted an investigation and found Waldoph Luctamar, 25, of White Plains, in possession of a large amount of individually packaged cocaine, Budnar said.
He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Luctamar was being held at the Tarrytown Police Headquarters pending arraignment in the Tarrytown Village Justice Court.
