Westchester Man Had Sexual Contact With Child Under 11, Police Say

A 23-year-old area man is behind bars after police say he had sexual contact with a child under the age of 11.

State police from the Wappinger barracks received a complaint regarding the alleged conduct on Monday, Feb. 19. An investigation found that Elisa D. Henry of Peekskill had engaged in sexual contact with a victim in the town of Wappinger.

Henry was charged with sexual abuse in the first degree, a Class D felony.

He was arraigned before the Town of Pleasant Valley Court, and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

His next scheduled to appear before the town of Wappinger Court on Thursday, Feb. 22.
