SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. Police will offer free child identification kits Saturday during the Sleepy Hollow Street Fair.
This information would be of immense assistance to a police department if a child goes missing or for a parent to have for any emergency, Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Gregory Camp said.
The kits include a photo, fingerprints and medical information on a laminated card. Camp said the process takes three to five minutes.
Police and New York Life Insurance Co. representatives will have a booth outside police headquarters at the fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Camp encouraged parents with children to stop by the booth, as well as anyone with an adult with a disability or Alzheimer's disease.
