A Sleepy Hollow man was busted on Tuesday for providing alcohol to a minor and charging too much for a taxi fare during a compliance check, according to Tarrytown Police.
Hector Sanchez-Perez, 38, was arrested during a taxi/livery rate schedule and alcohol compliance check by the Tarrytown Police Department Detective Division in conjunction with the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force, said Lt. Greg Budnar.
During the check, Sanchez-Perez, who was driving a Muni car for Lina Taxi, purchased alcoholic beverages which he then provided to a minor under the age of 21, Budnar said.
Sanchez-Perez was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and charging a fare in excess of a scheduled rate.
