Reports: Sleepy Hollow Strangling Victim Dies

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – A Sleepy Hollow woman allegedly strangled Saturday in a domestic dispute died Wednesday, according to several published reports.

Police charged Christopher Howson, 49, after they say he strangled his wife on Saturday in Sleepy Hollow.

Theresa Gorski, 47, was taken off life support at Phelps Memorial Hospital Wednesday afternoon, reports say.

Gorski's husband Christopher Howson, 49, had been charged with second-degree attempted murder and first-degree strangulation after Gorski was seriously injured in a domestic dispute on Jan. 5 in the Webber Park neighborhood.

Howson will appear in village court on Jan. 14.
