Pot Grow House Busted In Hartsdale

WESTCHESTER COUNTY,  N.Y. -- A Hartsdale man was busted Wednesday for operating a marijuana grow house on Ridge Road, according to the Greenburgh Police Department.

Layton McTavish, 38, was arrested around 2 p.m. following a lengthy investigation into a possible grow house by members of the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force, Greenburgh Police Detective Division and the Street Crime Unit, said Lt. Frank Farina.

The task force executed a search warrant at McTavish's home where they recovered 17 marijuana plants, other marijuana individually wrapped for sale and equipment to grow marijuana. There was over a pound of

marijuana recovered in total, Farina said.

McTavish, who was charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana, lives in the home with his wife and four children under the age of 18.
