Police: Tarrytown Hotel Guest Accused Of Dodging Bill

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Tarrytown police have arrested a 47-year-old man accused of skipping out on paying his hotel bill after staying for 15 days.

Lamar Thomas was charged with theft of services, a misdemeanor.

Police say Thomas left the DoubleTree Hotel in September without paying a bill of $2,334.56.

Mount Vernon police stopped Thomas on Dec. 20 and confirmed that there was a warrant for his arrest in Tarrytown. Tarrytown police picked up Thomas on Dec. 21 and took him to headquarters.

He was released on $1,000 cash bail.
